Compliance Alerts

The new law, (29 CFR 104 entitled Notification of Employee Rights; Obligations of Employers), requiring employers to post a notice in the work-place advising employees of their rights under the National Labor Relations act (NLRA), has been postponed until further notice. While the mandatory National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) posting scheduled for April 30, 2012 has been postponed, the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) continues to recommend that this notice be posted in all workplaces. The new Advantus Federal Labor Law poster, version 1/2012, incorporates the NLRA posting in accordance with the recommendation from the NLRB.
